Wayout water is consistently of highest quality. Through a series of filtration technologies, all salts and contaminants are removed (including microplastics, PFAs and pharma residue), and by natural processes all minerals essential to human wellness are added. The water is distributed in food grade stainless steel kegs that are sterilized and refilled at the water production pod. The kegs are sealed and completely tamper proof.
Wayout water is fully accessible. By always producing locally, proximity to perfect water needs never to be more than a few minutes away. We can turn any source water – sea water, waste water, bore hole water, etc – into perfect drinking water, increasing local water productivity. The water production pods are autonomous and can be operated off-grid using renewable energy. They are completely integrated plug-and-play systems that are fully automated, easy to operate, and ready to deploy.
Wayout water is always available. A single system produces 9,000 liters per day; enough to meet the daily personal need for drinking and cooking water for 2,000–4,000 people during both normal and emergency conditions. Through decentralized and distributed infrastructure, both geographic coverage and emergency redundancy is ensured. The filled water kegs have a guaranteed shelf life of three years and the system is built to last for well over forty years. The IoT system is modular and flexible making Wayout’s solution future-proof.
Wayout water is well affordable. By applying energy efficient state-of-the-art technology, the running cost for water production is very low. The water production process is fully automated and the entire cycle including distribution and dispensation is digitized. A digital twin dashboard enables real-time monitoring and control technologies to support performance, fast troubleshooting, power, and eco optimization as well as continuous improvement including cost reduction.
Wayout water is ecologically sustainable. No chemicals or single-use plastics are used in the process and no toxic waste or landfill is created. Only water. By the ability to use any type of local source water, by sanitizing the kegs in the production pods, and by powering the pods using renewable energy, the process is 100% self-sufficient, 100% circular, and completely carbon-neutral. Compared to single-use plastic packaged water, Wayout’s systems use 0.2% energy, 25% water resources, and eliminate up to 6.5 million plastic bottles per year.
